Trend
There are trends in pets, politics, and the paranormal. We use trends to understand ourselves, each other and the world around us. And of course, there are trends and more trends in fashion. I have worked with trends and communication in both commercial and academic contexts.
Commercially I have worked as a writer on trends and cultural subjects, design assistant at the French trend bureau Peclers-Paris, trend researcher for the Dutch trend agency Sign of the Times and UK bureau Mudpie and trend editor at pej gruppen/Scandinavian trend institute.
Academically I have worked closely with postdoc Maria Mackinney-Valentin in the development of DART (Driver Analysis – Reading Trends) a new approach to organize and develop intuition in the research and development phase of a creative process within the field of fashion and design.
