About

I am a visual sociologist and communication designer, trained from Goldsmiths, University of London and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - The School of Design.

I have worked with fashion, feminism and the phenomenon of trend research in dialogue with the academic and non-academic focusing on both a theoretical and art based practice.

As a visual sociologist I focus on the use of photography and other visual media within a humanities research context, emphasizing the fruitful meeting between social research and narrative art.

Within the field of communication I have worked for and with a wide range of media, primarily as editor and journalist, producing work that documents, informs and inspires on urban encounters and cultural currents.

Since 2010 I have been teaching a BA in Communication design at KEA design/business.
